Can QB Desktop make a single invoice for a customer who has multiple jobs?
Yes, for the customer, but not for both the customer and one or more of its jobs. An invoice can only have one customer:Job name at the top. There is no way to split it between jobs, which isn't the way Jobs are intended to work.
What you can do is create individual invoices, one for each Job as is appropriate for that Job's billing, and then send both the invoices and an AR Statement to the customer. The statement can be made to include Job detail and balances for the customer's entire account.
Thanks. Is there an app or program which would integrate with QB Desktop to create a single invoice for multiple jobs for one customer?

Problem with that approach is that includes ALL the invoices on the client account.
Is there a way to create that statement (i.e., the customer statement) with only the invoices I just created? I'd like to have only those just-created invoices on the statement so they caneasily pay that combined amount for multiple invoices.
It's nice to have you here, jesii7.
Yes, there's a way to create a customer statement with only the recent invoices you created. We can specify the dates and include all open transactions as of the statement date.
Let me show you how:
I've got an article for you. This provides information about the complete list of workflows and other customer-related transactions: Accounts Receivable workflows in QuickBooks Desktop.

Cool; thanks much!
Now only one more thing to do. I just want to include those recent invoices but not the balance forward (I've had clients get confused and think the whole thing was due) and not the total due, just the totals for the included invoices?

No, there is no way to do that. A sale can only use one name, be it a customer or a customer:job (which is really just a sub-customer like a sub-account.)
