I have a small restaurant. I use "Toast" as my POS system and 99% of my sales are made using Toast. The left 1% of sales are made using QBO Invoices. My QBO Automated Sales Tax system is turned on. I want to manually register in QBO my sales, sales tax, tips, and several fees (e.g. credit card payment fee - UberEats fee -etc). I receive all the transactions grouped in only 1 daily deposit from Toast in my bank account. I have seen a video on how to record in QBO my daily sales using sales receipts - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=viaE9llgC6E. Following the video instructions, I have to create a Service called "Sales tax" and input "Sales Tax Liability" as the income account. But when I try to create this Service I get the message "You cannot use this account to create items as the account is used by system to track the tax amount". What should I do?

Thanks for providing in-depth details about your concern, @Sangucheria. I'm here to share the updated process to record your daily QuickBooks Online (QBO) sales.
You're correct about entering a single sales receipt to report the total daily sales in QBO since you're using another Point of Sale system. Let's go over the step-by-step process:
If you still need to, let's create a customer first for daily sales.
Then, set up your Daily Sales account for accurate reporting. See the table below for your reference:
After that, you can now set up items for daily sales. You'll also want to create a category for these items to keep them organized.
Regarding the error message, you don't need to set up a separate service item for sales tax. Yet, you can mark the Daily Sales Income item as taxable instead since you collect sales tax and ensure your setup rate is correct.
Once done, you can proceed to Steps 4-5 of this article: Record your total daily sales in QuickBooks Online.
Furthermore, concerning your daily deposit, you can match it directly to the multiple sales receipts recorded to avoid duplicates.
I'm only a post away if you need additional guidance with recording your daily sales in QBO. I'll be right here to help you again. Stay safe!
