how to report calendar year in Dividends paid section of Balance sheet. The account currently reflects complete history

In the dividends paid account in the equity section of the Balance sheet. How do I change the date format to the calendar year. It currently reports the complete history of payments paid

I can share some information about how QuickBooks reports work.

 

The data shown in the Balance Sheet and all other QuickBooks forms is based on the period you selected on the report. If you'd like to view this calendar year's data, you may follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Reports tab.
  2. Select Company & Financial.
  3. Choose Balance Sheet Standard.
  4. Click the Dates drop-down and select This Fiscal Year or enter a custom date on the As of field.
  5. Click Refresh to update the report.

how to report calendar year in Dividends paid section of Balance sheet. The account currently reflects complete history

I use Quicken 2016 and there is no refresh tab that I can find . Can you suggest another solution? Remember that the only issue is with Dividends paid. Prior to this year I never had this problem has there been some upgrade that might have caused this.
