How to solve a problem with standard 3-part check printing where the sample check setup is perfect but the actual check only shows the top part, not middle or bottom?

I read the tutorials and spoke to support but the issue was not resolved. I was told to just create the same check 3 times and then it will show all three parts in print. That worked BUT I'd need to create each check 3 times and then delete the duplicates - seems like a lot of trouble for printing one check. We never had this issue with the desktop version, only since switching to QBO.

Hi there, director-charles.

Let me help you fix the issue about printing standard 3-part checks in QuickBooks Online. You can start by loading some blank paper into your printer for your test prints. That way you won’t waste actual checks if you need to fix the check alignment.

Also, make sure the printer is set up for QuickBooks so your checks align and print out correctly. Let me show you how.

  1. Click + New, then Print checks.
  2. Select Print setup.
  3. Select your check type, voucher, or standard.
  4. Select View preview and print sample. Then select Print.
  5. Follow the on-screen steps to finish printing your sample check.
  6. Put the sample print under a blank check. See if they line up correctly.

Once done, install or update Adobe Reader and fine-tune your check alignment. For the detailed steps, please browse this article and follow steps 2 to 4: Configure your print settings for printing checks in QuickBooks Online.

Now you're ready to print again your checks. If you're using your own check, make they're formatted for QuickBooks. If not, you can order QuickBooks-compatible checks from us.

Thank you; I've done all of the above and was on call with three different representatives -- no one could resolve it so far. Anything else you could think of to fix this issue?

Thank you; I tried all of the above plus spoke with three representatives - no one offered a good solution yet. Any other ideas how I can fix the issue?
