This is a known problem that usually stems from a browser cache or a specific search filter setting, rather than your data actually being deleted.
If you have assigned a client's name to a specific income transaction like a bank deposit, go to the Transactions tab, click the magnifying glass or search field, and type the name. Ensure the date filter is set to All so you aren't accidentally hiding older transactions.
Alternatively, try opening QuickBooks Self-employed in an incognito/private window or clearing your browser's cache and cookies to see if the browser itself is causing the issue.
