I am unable to open deposit transactions. I get the loading icon or bouncing doc icon and nothing. I tried multiple browsers, same issue. I use Quickbooks Online.

I am reconciling and need to open a deposit transaction to review and correct. It is not working. Now I realize any deposit transactions won't open, only debits when I am viewing my main account. What is going on?

Hello there, ivanereiz. Let's make sure you're able to open those transactions so you can start reconciling them in QuickBooks Online.

 

Cookies and browser cache make web pages load more quickly. But  these can also cause some unusual behaviors like loading specific pages in QuickBooks. 

To fix this, we can perform some troubleshooting steps and to check if  there are no underlying browser-related problems. We'll start by accessing your account in a private/incognito window. Use these keyboard shortcuts to open one:

 

  • Google Chrome: Press CTRL + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Press CTRL + Shift + P
  • Safari: Press Command + Shift + N

 

If it works and you're able to open the transaction, then you can go back to your regular browsing window and clear it's cache. This will remove corrupted and out-of-date internet files that are causing minor browsing issues.

 

You can also look for other supported browsers that function well with QuickBooks Online.
