Hi there, neville1021. In QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE), there isn’t a dedicated field for entering your EIN. Fortunately, QuickBooks provides other products that let you enter your EIN to manage your business information.
QBSE is designed primarily for sole proprietors and typically uses SSN for tax purposes. Additionally, the option in the settings for Account and settings is available only in QuickBooks Solopreneur (QBSP) and QuickBooks Online (QBO). If you have an EIN and need to use it, your business has likely grown beyond what QBSE supports, and you should consider switching to QBSP or QBO.
