I have been trying to print payroll checks and stubs but all of a sudden it stopped working. I can print any other checks but payroll.

I have contacted Intuit on two occasions with no luck! On the phone for over 2 hours and no help! I am so frustrated at this point with this product.

Thanks for joining the Community, inez1.

We aim to deliver customer satisfaction at all times. Besides, this isn't the kind of customer service I desire you to experience. Rest assured, I'll take note of this so I can pass along your experience. And, provide all the feedback you have to the appropriate channels.

First of all, let's open your browser in incognito/private mode to check if it caused by a browser. Also, this mode doesn't use the existing cache data files to load a webpage.

Here are the keyboard shortcuts to open a private browser:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl+Shift+N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl+Shift+P
  • Internet Explorer: press Ctrl+Shift+P
  • Safari: press Command+Shift+N

If it works fine with a private browser, I suggest clearing your browser's cache to start fresh.

Once done, you can go to Payroll Settings to check the paycheck option before printing them in QuickBooks Online.

Here's how:

Set up your paycheck printing preferences

  1. Go to the Gear icon at the upper right corner and choose Payroll Settings.
  2. Click the  Preferences and click Paycheck Printing Settings.
  3. Make sure that the Pre-printed check stock is selected.
  4. Hit OK.

 Print paychecks

  1. Go to the  Payroll menu, then select Employees.
  2. In the My Payroll section, select Paycheck List.
  3. Select the paychecks you'd like to print, then select Print.

Please check this article on how to print paychecks or print pay stubs when you run payroll depend on which product you have: Print paychecks in QuickBooks and Printing Checks and Pay Stubs.

Lastly, I've also added an article that can help you how to troubleshoot problems in QuickBooks Online: Troubleshoot printing paychecks, pay stubs, and forms.

Please let me know how it goes. I'll be around to help if you have any other problems when printing a paycheck. Have a good day!

Thank you for your help. But I tried using the incognito window and it still display my email's company instead of the actual company name. Is there anything else I can do to update that?

Welcome to the thread, Keshaun. I appreciate you for performing the troubleshooting steps shared above to fix the printing issue. With this, I'll make sure to provide instructions so you'll be able to see the actual company name in printing payroll checks and stubs.

When printing checks and pay stubs for your employees in QuickBooks Online, you'll have to ensure that everything in your company settings has correct details. This could be the reason why it still displays the email's company instead of the actual company name. To confirm this, I suggest going to the Account and Settings to verify the information entered.

Here's how:

  1. Click the Gear icon. Then, choose Account and Settings.
  2. Go to the Company tab.
  3. Choose the Company name section.
  4. Double-check the company name entered.

If the information registered is correct and the issue persists, I reccomend updating your Adobe Reader/Acrobat to the latest version or repairing your Adobe installation. Updating, repairing, or re-installing your Adobe Reader/Acrobat is easy and can be performed by following the steps in this article: How to update, repair, or re-install Adobe Reader/Acrobat.
