Once you've connected your bank or financial institution to QuickBooks Online (QBO), the system automatically downloads new transactions nightly around 10 PM PT. If you're not getting the latest ones, QBO has an option to manually download them.

Also, transactions are usually available to download the day after they're posted to the bank's website. Some may take a little longer depending on your bank.
You can also check their website to check if this issue is on the bank’s end. Refer to this article and proceed to Step 2 for the detailed steps on how: What to do if you see a bank error or bank transactions won’t download.

I do not think the problem is with the bank as I have checked online to see that authority has been given and the link is set.
When the process in QBO returns you to the site it tells me that the connection has been made, the tick appears and then nothing.
When I close the page and return to the banking page I am back to it asking for me to reconnect.
It appears a technical issue within QBO.
Any ideas?
