Hello,

If you have QuickBooks Online and using Enhanced or Full Service Payroll with it, I'm wondering where you are going in the program to know exactly which taxtable version you have?

In the payroll section, where it allows you to update your payroll table. It shows you there which table you are on. I got an email from Intuit saying that it's latest payroll table was available and it is 21908. I also find that in trying to perform this 1st quarter of the quarterly taxes, I can't do it because 21906 has 2018 forms and I need 2019 forms.

Hello ergocaroline,

The latest Payroll News and Update is 21908 was released on March 21, 2019. Let's go ahead and try to update your payroll tax table again within QuickBooks. Here's how:

Go to the Employees menu, then select Get Payroll Updates.
Put a check in the Download Entire Update checkbox.
Select Download Latest Update.
A window appears when the download is complete.

Once you updated, view and print the tax forms again.

Yes that is what I was doing...... and when it wouldn't update out of 21906....I posted the question to the Quickbooks community.

I can't think what else to do.

My subscriptions are all up to date.

My credit card on file with them is correct.

It's very frustrating and I just don't have an hour to sit and wait on the phone for Intuit or QB support. There has to be a better system out there.

Yes that is exactly what I was doing.....and it won't update.

That is why I posted the question to the community as I can't figure out what else to do.

I have checked that all my subscriptions are up to date.

My credit card on file with them is fine (they have no problem processing a monthly fee to me).

However, I can't get good service. I don;t have the time to sit on a phone for an hour waiting to get help from Intuit or QB people.

I do appreciate your getting back to me though.

You'll need to enable the Automatic Update feature in QuickBooks so you'll able to update your Payroll Tax Table successfully. To turn it on, you can follow the detailed steps in this article: Update to the latest release of QuickBooks Desktop.

Once the Automatic Update is enabled, you can now download or install the latest payroll tax table in QuickBooks Desktop to ensure your payroll has accurate information: Download the latest payroll tax table.
