Hi there, @userexoticpawsnof.
Can share with us the error that you're getting when connecting your second bank account to QuickBooks Online (QBO)? This will help us in providing you the appropriate steps in addressing the issue.
When you set up online banking, you connect your bank and credit card accounts to automatically download transactions in QuickBooks. If you can't find your financial institution or getting an error, here are the possible reasons why it happens:
- Your bank does not connect to all types of accounts (for example, personal accounts vs business accounts).
- Your bank has multiple names on our list.
- Your bank is not a participating financial institution.
To fix this, you can follow the steps provided in this article: How to fix bank error when connecting to QuickBooks.
I've also added the list common banking errors in QuickBooks and how to address them:
In addition, you may still be able to download transactions from your bank's website and upload them to QBO. You can use the Excel CSV (comma-separated values) files to import them to QuickBooks.
Once your transactions are in QuickBooks, you can now match and categorize them.
I'm always here to help if you have any other concerns or questions. Just tag my name in the comment section and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
