Hello there, @miawoo369.
Let me guide you in converting QuickBooks Online to QuickBooks Desktop. First, we'll configure Internet Explorer's security for your successful export. To do so, you may follow the steps below:
- Right-click the Internet Explorer icon and then select Run as administrator.
- Select the Tools icon and then click Internet Options.
- On the Security tab, select Trusted Sites.
- Click Sites.
- In the Add this website to the zone field, enter *.intuit.com and *.qbo.intuit.com.
- Make sure Require server verification (https: ) for all sites in this zone is unchecked.
- Close the Trusted Sites window.
- Make sure Enable Protected Mode is unchecked.
- Once you're done, click on Apply and then Okay.
Once done, let's run QuickBooks Desktop in Administrator Mode. Just make sure QuickBooks Desktop is already installed on your computer. Here's how:
- Locate the program from a desktop shortcut or through the programs in the Start menu.
- Right-click on the program and then select Run as administrator.
Then try exporting your company data again. For visual references for exporting, you can view the Visual Guide to Export.
I'd recommend running the Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet reports in the two versions to compare them. This ensures your books are accurate after the exporting process.
Also, you can always visit this page: QuickBooks Desktop. Then, click + More topics at the bottom of the window. This lets you see all the topics on how to efficiently manage your income, expenses, inventory, and your desktop company file.
I'll be around to help you, miawoo369. Take care always!
