When printing your Build Assemblies in QuickBooks, I can see how vital it is to be able to view the Qty on Hand column on the printed form. For now, we are unable to see it immediately in the print preview.
Our developers are working internally when it comes to product enhancements. With that, let's send this as a product suggestion to them. To log your product suggestions, just go to the Help Menu and select Send Feedback Online.
As a workaround, you can create a custom field to add Qty on Hand on the printed form. Here's how:
Put a checkbox next to Print/Screen so that the new custom field appears on transactions and forms as well. Follow the steps below:

As we aim to provide convenience to your Quickbooks experience, we recognize the relevance of enabling the Qty on Hand column to show when printing your build assembly forms. We can consider following the workaround steps shared above. In your case, since custom fields won't automatically reflect when clicking Print/Preview on the modified template, you'll need to manually
enter the quantity on hand from the build assembly item you created.
If you've already created custom fields for Qty on Hand from the inventory assembly item and have enabled the Screen & Print checkbox from the Custom Build Assembly template, we can open the build assembly created and manually enter the Qty from there. To do this
Moreover, if you want to adjust your inventory of finished goods, you can manually track and review these goods and create adjustments.
