I received an email a few days ago that my 1099 was available. However upon logging in, the clients tab on the left is not showing up. How can I access my 1099?

Other contractors for the same company received theirs and logged in the same way I did, and under the client tab (Which I don't see) The company showed up with their 1099 under that.

I know some information for you to view your 1099, jjohnson

After your employer or client submits your 1099-MISC to the IRS, you'll get an email when it's ready for download. Since you've mentioned that you already received the email, kindly look for a link inside the said message. Use that link to sign in to QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).

As you sign in using the given link, you can now view or print your 1099-MISC.

Here's how:

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Self-Employed.
  2. Go to the Clients menu.
  3. Select the Tax Forms tab.

On the other hand, if you still can't view the Client menu, you'll need to contact your client.

You can also see this website for more information about your 1099: Fill out a W-9 and view your 1099-MISC in QuickBooks Self-Employed

Furthermore, you can visit this website to see or learn some basics of QuickBooks Self-Employed: Overview of QuickBooks Self-Employed

Feel free to let us if you need anything else or have further concerns about the 1099. We'll get back to you as soon as we can.
