Buy nowI only have the one new car as active, and no longer own the previous car. Why can't this be set to automatically assign to the only active car I have? Is there a way already?
Hi there, derek.
Thanks for providing us with details. I'll be glad to help you ensure your vehicle is assigned automatically.
QuickBooks Self-Employed doesn’t automatically link vehicles to downloaded bank transactions. It also displays inactive vehicles, enabling you to categorize car-related expenses from when those vehicles were in use.

At the same time, you can rename the inactive vehicles to avoid confusion when categorizing car-related expenses.
