I still want to use a desktop version, not online

I'm here to help make sure you can upgrade from Desktop for Mac 2019 to the newer version of the program.

Once you upgrade your QuickBooks Desktop for Mac to the latest version, you'll want to ensure your computer meets the system requirements. 

Then, I suggest creating a backup copy of the company file so you have the option to restore it in case you ever run into a problem with your data. You can also use it when transfering your data from an old version to a new one.

Which MacOS do you run?

You can still purchase QB Desktop 2024 but you have to call their sales team by phone. Another option, you can purchase it through selected partners (tax exempt, no credit card required, can get $100 cashback).

Mac OS High Sierra, 10.13.6, although I have been wanting to get a new IMac desktop. I have a lot of stuff on my current iMac, I have a general knowledge of computers and programs, but making this switch is beyond my pay grade.  New Quickbooks version and moving all the other things on my current computer, any advice

You can still run your QB Desktop 2019 on High Sierra. Unless you have any specific concerns. When your new machine arrives, you can contact us and we can help obtain a new license for QB Desktop 2024 if needed.
