If I "transmitted my data" to turbo tax and it sent me to turbo tax, any idea why my data is not showing up?

I did complete the "checklist" got the transmitting screen. Im for sure I have the right user name.  I had briefly started to answer turbo tax questions, and had TT open in another screen at the time.  Any help would be appreciated. It also says you can only transmit once so I am afraid to just try again. imagine the nightmare of having everything show up doubled

I understand you've completed the checklist to transmit the data from QuickBooks Self-Employed to Turbo Tax.

 

It may block your data if you have entered information into Turbo Tax Self-Employed before exporting. You can reach our Customer Care team in this situation to help you restart the process. Otherwise, follow the steps below:

 

  1. Start exporting from QuickBooks Self-Employed. If you started from Turbo Tax, you have to sign out and sign in to QuickBooks Self-Employed. Make sure you are not logged in to other products to avoid crossing wires and blocking your data.
  2. Complete the tax checklist in QuickBooks Self-Employed.
  3. Follow the questionnaire in TurboTax Self-Employed.
  4. Check for messages in the Schedule C section of TurboTax Self-Employed.

 

If you still need help, I recommend reaching our support team.

 

  1. Click Help (?), and select Contact Us.
  2. Tap the + button and select Ask QB Assistant. Enter "talk to a human" then select Continue.
  3. You can then choose a way to connect with us:
  • Start a chat with a support expert.
  • Get a callback from the next available expert.
