If you e-file 1099s through quickbooks, do they send the recipient their copy?

QuickBooks got your back when e-filing, @lboots21. I'll walk you through ensuring recipients get their copy.

When you file 1099s through our platform, we email a copy and a printed one to your contractors. You also have the option to print the form from the Taxes page after e-filing.

To make the process easier for your contractors, you can invite them to view their 1099 online. Just navigate to the Payroll section and select Contractors. Enter their name and email in the designated fields and click on Add Contractor. We'll send a real-time email to help them set up their account.
