IIF FIle Multiple Service Dates

Is it possible to have a Transaction Date in the DATE field but on the SPLT lines have different dates?  Inside QB that is the service date but there is no service date available in the IIF list of column headers.   When I tried that, the error message said all dates in the DATE field has to the the same.   I also tried having two transactions with the same transaction ID to accommodate the two dates but they were put on separate invoices not the same invoices.

I would appreciate any guidance or suggestions anyone has

Thanks

Yes, you can import the Service Date using an IIF file.

Add the field SERVICEDATE to the !SPL record and then use it on SPL rows.

Consider using our BRC IIF Transaction Creator Pro , at least the free trial, to create well-formed IIF files - with a complete set of fields for transaction records - for your review.  You might even like it so much you decide to buy it  :)

IIF FIle Multiple Service Dates

Thank you so much for your quick reply BigRedConsulting.   I was able to add SERVICEDATE to the !SPL recorde and it imported successfully however it doesn't show up on my invoice template.  I do believe I have it mapped correctly to show up on my invoice template (see attached).   Any other suggestions on how to make it actually show on the invoice?

A side bar question.  Do you have a link to an updated list of acceptable !TRANS and !SPL column headers?  The SERVICEDATE was not on the one in the IIF kit for the invoice

Have you verified that there are dates in the Service date column in the IIF file?

If you are using QB 2019+, follow these recommendations to import: BRC QuickBooks 2019+ IIF Import Changes and Recommendations

I don't have a list of fields other than what the IIF Creator produces.

IIF FIle Multiple Service Dates

Yes I did.     I have the SERVICE DATE on the !SPL line and then on the !SPL row I have different dates for each line.   The file imported successfully into QB but none of the dates show.
