Good day, kt8.
Thanks for dropping by the Online Community. I’ll be your guide in uploading transactions to QuickBooks.
The good news is you can use the Online Banking feature to automatically download transactions into QBO. Before proceeding with the process, check how your bank sends the downloaded data.
This information will guide us on how to set up online banking. Once you have the information handy, let’s go ahead and connect your financial institution.
If you haven’t created the account yet, then set it up in QBO. Here's how:
- Go to Accounting on the left panel, then select Chart of Accounts.
- Click on the New button.
- In the Account Type drop-down, click on the drop-down and select Credit Card.
- Fill in the fields.
- Click on Save and Close.
Once done, you can start connecting the credit card account. To visually guide you through the process, click on this article: Online Banking Overview.
I’ve added some links that will help keep your bank feeds organized and steps on how to set up the parent and sub-account.
By following the resolution, you can start accepting credit card transactions.
If you need further assistance with any of these steps, leave me a comment. I'll be happy to help. Have a great rest of your day.
