Is it possible to import sales transactions in an Excel file? I use order management software that doesn't work with the Mac version of Quickbooks. I do not like Windows and would like to figure out a way to import my sales to the Mac version of Quickbooks.
Hi, @annabdrake.
Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us. It's my pleasure to provide some insights about importing transactions to QuickBooks Desktop for Mac (QBDT). Please keep in mind that before importing and exporting data, you should make a backup copy just in case.
Yes, it is possible to import the sales transactions in QBDT for Mac using Excel File. By doing this, you need to make sure that there are no blank boxes on the spreadsheet when pasting it to Quickbooks Mac so that the importing process will be successful.
Here's how:
4. Click the Add button on the Add the Product and Services You Sell-side (on the right) window, then hit Browse to locate the file.
5. Press Add My Data Now, then review the data.
6. Pick Import, then click OK when the status window says Import Complete.
For additional reference, you can check this article for detailed steps about importing transactions. On your keyboard, press Ctrl + F and search for the Importing items in batches to easily find the topic: https://qblittlesquare.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/QuickBooks-for-Mac-2019-1809.pdf.

Unfortunately we have to find yet any 3rd party importer tool for QB Mac. Consider purchasing QB Windows and running it on Parallels for your Mac.
