in Reference to LOGO not printing properly

I've read numerous threads about this. This is the answer if your logo is rectangle (like ours). It would cut off the right side of the image. Logos must be Square.

Remember, the logo should be:

  • a .gif, .bmp, .png, .jpg, .jpe, or .jpeg file
  • smaller than 10 MB
  • 24-bits or less in bit depth (or color depth)
  • square-shaped, since rectangles don’t work

Why on God's green earth would QB require a logo to be square? That's ridiculous! Does everyone have a square logo? I think not.

Print preview displays our logo correctly, but the bottom and the right edges are cut off.

Please tell me that Intuit is working on a fix for this.  I spent at least an hour on the phone with 1st level tech support. They had me perform all sorts of tests and run the QB fixer program, etc. None of that worked. During that call, the tech did not mention that the logo had to be "square."

My issue was supposed to have been raised to 2nd level support, but I haven't heard a peep back from anyone.

So after not hearing back from tech support for a period of days, I submitted a request for a call back. I just spent over an hour on the phone with QB 1st line then 2nd level tech support. After many many minutes of trying a few things to no avail, the tech goes off mic to check some things out and 10-15 minutes later the call is dropped. This is the second time being cut off with no warning and no further communication.

QB support is lacking. The Logo situation is still unresolved.

This isn't the experience we want you to have, @AllMoto. With this, I'll gladly share some insights about adding logos on your sales forms in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

A company logo helps establish your company's brand and personality. @GEGr mentioned above is correct about what it should be in QBO. You can check if the one you have fits the following requirements:

  • a .gif, .bmp, .png, .jpg, .jpe, or .jpeg file
  • smaller than 10 MB
  • 24-bits or less in bit depth (or color depth)
  • square-shaped, since rectangles don’t work
  • using the standard RGB color space

When one of the requirements isn't met, you may encounter printing errors. With this, I'd recommend making sure your company logo follows the requirements above to avoid printing issues in the future.

To learn more about adding and customizing logos and answer the most commonly asked questions about it, please see this article: Add, customize, or remove logos on sales forms.

Also, to further guide you in customizing your sales forms and managing income transactions and payments in QBO, I'd recommend checking out one of our help pages: Sales and Customers Help Articles for QuickBooks Online.

Let me know in the comments if you have other concerns about customizing and printing logos on your sales forms in QBO. I'm always ready to help. Take care, and I wish you continued success, @AllMoto.
