inactive class to active status

Hello there, leeflax.

It would be my pleasure to show you how to make an inactive class active again in QuickBooks Desktop.

Here's how:

  1. Click the List tab at the top menu bar.
  2. Select Class List.
  3. Click the drop-down arrow next to Class.
  4. Select Show Inactive Classes.
  5. Click the X symbol beside the Class you want to make active again.

I look forward to serving you to the best of my ability. Wishing you all the best.

Hi @PNETWORK,

I'll walk you through on how you can make inactive classes active again.

Follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select All lists
  3. Click the Classes link.
  4. Tap the small Gear icon right above the Action column.
  5. Tick the Include inactive option.
  6. Search the list for the inactive class you need, then press the Make active link.

I'll leave this article here as well: Track your transactions by class. It's a step by step guide on how you can assign a class to a transaction as a way to track them.

I'll be around in case you need further assistance. Drop a comment below, and I'll get back to you.
