Not really sure how to explain it other than the title.
I enter the interest when starting the reconcile, when I'm entering the ending balance as well. All goes well for that reconcile. The problem occurs the next time I reconcile the account. The interest from the previous month shows under the "Checks and Payments".
I feel somewhere the interest is coded incorrectly but cannot find where to change it.
Any suggestions or advice is greatly appreciated.
Hello there, Machi180.
For us to take a look ar your account, I'd recommend reaching out to our Phone Suport team. An agent can verify why the interest showed as payment after you reconciled the transactions.
Here's how you can reach out to them:

I have the same problem. I click reconcile, in the upper left I show the bank account, I enter the dates, the interest amount and the account. (Which happens to be the same as the one in the upper left.
Let's check why the interest is showing up under Checks and Payments, Douglas88.
You need to review the previous reconciliation through the bank register if the interest is showing as duplicate. Or if the amount wasn't reconciled which is why it's showing on your next reconciliation.
Please know that you'll only enter and interest earned if you didn't add it before reconciling the account. Also, make sure the the date of the interest is within the Statement Date.
