I can sense the urgency of stopping the backup process. With this, follow the instructions below:
- Go to the File menu, select Back up Company, then Create Local Backup.
- Click Local Backup and then Next.
- Tap Save it now and schedule future backups, then Next.
- Select a scheduled backup, then click Remove.
- Tap Yes, then Finish.
If you have an active subscription for Intuit Data Protect, here's how to cancel it:
- Right-click Intuit Data Protect from the System Tray.
- Select About Intuit Data Protect.
- Once the About Intuit Data Protect window opens, press CTRL+F2 simultaneously to open the IDP Diagnostic tool.
- Click Log out.
