Intuit Data Connect - Missing Previous Backups

We are running QB 2021 Premier Contractor with 3 users and utilize Intuit Data Connect for our backups.  The file did reside on my computer and was shared via the Database Server Manager and we recently purchased a server, so the file was backup, then restored to the server.  The file opens just fine on the server.  Database Server Manager was then configured to find the files and all three computers were configured to access then new location of the files.

I just turned Intuit Data Connect and it is showing no files in the View Backup History.  The subscription is still the same.  If I run the IDC from my computer, where the file originally was, all the backups are there.

How do I ensure all the backup files in IDC populate when running it from the new server?

Intuit Data Connect - Missing Previous Backups

Thanks for dropping by the Community today, skoz5555.

This isn’t the kind of experience I want you to have, especially when using backing up your QuickBooks. Let’s download and install the latest update for the Intuit Data Protect. These troubleshooting steps will help ensure you’ll see backup files in your View Backup History.

To download:

  1. In your company file, go to the Help menu at the top menu bar and Update QuickBooks.
  2. Tap the Update Now tab and choose Data Protect.
  3. Click the Get Updates tab and press OK to confirm the action.

Once done, you can now install the update. Click here to get the complete steps and proceed directly to Step 2.
