Hi, could you please advise how we can get monthly invoices for using our QBO from Intuit Inc. and also a W-9 form from Intuit Inc.
Thank you
Every year, many users on this forum ask how to get a W-9 from Intuit. There is no way to obtain one as far as I know and as any future responses from QB employees will confirm. There was a 2019 Intuit W-9 floating around the internet for a while. The bottom line is that Intuit is a public company and is, therefore, a corporation. There isn't an auditor I know of that would balk at not having a W-9 for a publicly-traded company.
Hi,
I would appreciate if somebody from the Intuit support team could respond.
Also, could you please advise if under our current subscription fee we can manage more than one company and in different jurisdictions? Now, we use QBO Essentials to manage books for our US based entity, but we were thinking if we can use QBO for another legal entity based in Ireland and if so what the conditions would be.
Thanks
Addtitionally, we were wondering in which cases Intuit charges Sales Tax. If you could clarify this too, it would be great! Thank you
Apologies, I have one more related question. Currently we make payments by a direct debit from our bank account, but can we change it and pay to Intuit via a company credit card? And how to enable this change?
Thank you
Hello there, @ABHandshake.
I will be glad to share additional information about your concerns in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
With regards to getting a monthly invoice from intuit is unavailable since getting the payment of your QuickBooks subscription is auto debited from your bank. Also, with regards to the W-9 form I agree with Rainflurry we're unable to provide it because Intuit is a corporation and payments made to us are not part of the exclusion list.
On the other hand, in QuickBooks you can have as many companies as you'd like under the same QBO account, each company requires an additional subscription. You can access them with the same sign-in info. This lets you quickly switch between companies so you can manage everything more efficiently. See this article for details: Create or add another company file to QuickBooks Online.
Moreover, with regards to managing Intuit charges to your credit card or bank account, you can visit this link: Understand Intuit charges on your credit card or bank statement.
Finally, yes, you can change and pay to Intuit via a company credit card. You can edit subscription billing info and details about your firm right from QuickBooks account.
Here's how:
