inventory adjustment

Hello Dears,

I would like to ask about the inventory adjustment in QBO as I used to use in QB Desktop to assign a product as a fixed asset to a customer but in QBO I could not find a way to do it ?

would you help on the steps if such thing is available in QBO ?

inventory adjustment

In QBO you have to "sell" the inventory item, and then "buy" it as a fixed asset.

Use a cash type bank account for this and a dummy vendor you create

thank you for your response, I was hoping for not using an extra steps an accounts for such a transaction but seems the only way for now
