Invoice Activity Log

I need to understand how the activities log works. When it says the invoice has been viewed is there a way to know who has viewed it.  I sometimes have CC people other than the original recipient.  It also appears the activities log also shows every time I view it.  If it is showing the times I view it, without telling me that it's me, then then I really have no way of knowing if my client has seen it.  Also it seems that if I have it open then open another tab and then go back to that tab it records that as another instance of it being viewed, which adds additional confusion.

Invoice Activity Log

Hi there, @Bradley524.I recognize the importance of having the option to determine who viewed the invoice you've sent to your customers in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

As I've checked, the option you're trying to access is unavailable. You can only see the status of the invoice and when it got sent, and also if someone accessed the invoice. If you wish to have this feature in QBO, I can help you send a feature request to our Product Development Team. This way, they'll see your product suggestion and consider adding it to the next update. To begin, here's how:

  1. Access your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. On the top-right corner, click the Gear icon.
  3. Under Profile, select Feedback.
  4. Enter a brief description of your feature suggestion.
  5. Once you're ready, press Done.

In addition, here's an article to help you manage payments in QBO: Take and process payments in QuickBooks Online with QuickBooks Payments.

You can also check this page about modifying reports and adding more details to it: Customize reports in QuickBooks Online.

@Bradley524, feel free to post here in the Community space if you have any additional QuickBooks-related concerns. I'll be more than happy to help you out again. Take care, and have a nice day!
