Invoices not letting me save changes.

Every time I open up an invoice to edit the invoice it takes forever to give me the option to save the invoice or sometimes the save button stays greyed out the entire time. After waiting a good few minutes, I get an error message stating "Something's not working try refreshing the page and check back." Any idea how I can get the save button to be active so I can save the changes I am making to the invoice.Screenshot 2024-05-27 165121.png

I'll make sure that you can successfully save your invoices, @Tobernite8193.

Strange behaviors and unresponsive interfaces in the program are usually caused by the accumulated cache in the browser. To isolate the issue, lets access your QBO company using a private or incognito window. Here are the shortcut keys:

  • For Mozilla Firefox browser: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • For Google Chrome browser: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • For Safari browser: Command + Shift + N

If the private browsing session doesn't work, you can clear the browser's cache so the system can restart. Also, you can use up-to-date browsers to maximize your QBO experience.

Additionally, here's an article that you can read to learn how to design the sales forms that you send to your customers: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.

Just let me in the comment section if you have further questions about invoices. I'll always have your back.

This did not fix the issue. It keeps timing out on my end and telling me to try again later.
