invoices

having trouble with subtotal, tax, total, and balance due lines printing directly under product lines without any white space. the whole invoice is printing on half of a sheet of paper.

making the invoice look unprofessional. was hoping someone has come up with a fix.

if no fix found I'm going to have to go back to my original accounting software.

which is a shame really liked the online concept.

is anyone else having printing issues?  it just might be something I'm doing.

Hi norm2,

I appreciate your patience while waiting for this post to get answered.

I've confirmed that there's no reported issue from other users about this. Let's get your invoice printed properly by doing these troubleshooting steps:

  1. Use a private browser when printing invoices. On your keyboard, press Ctrl Shift (Google Chrome), Ctrl Shift keys (Firefox or Internet Explorer), Control Option + (Safari).
  2. If you're able to print properly from there, let's go ahead and clear the browser's cache. How do I clear my browser cache and temporary Internet files?
  3. Otherwise, you can try to use another supported browser when accessing QuickBooks Online.

You can also customize the invoice margin from the company settings. Please click on the Gear icon and select Custom Form Style. Then, click on the Edit link for the invoice template. From Content tab, you can edit the invoice margin.

Let me know how it goes. I'll be here to help.
