iPhone app data not loading

Recurring issue: app on iPhone is not working. Its spins and spins and data will not load.  This has happened at least five times in the last year.  Currently it is not working for three weeks now.  I have tried everything to fix it.  Deleted the app, turned WiFi off, cleared large attachments to open up more storage on my phone.  It is NOT working.  This is paralyzing my business as I work in the road using my QBs.

Currently, there is an issue (INV-102190) with the App taking over an hour to load the user's data. However, our product team is investigating it. We understand this is causing you inconvenience, and we want to assure you that our engineers are working diligently to resolve it. Your assistance is our top priority.

 

At the moment, we cannot provide a specific timeframe for the resolution of this issue, but we hope to have new information for you soon.

 

Alternatively, you might receive earlier updates if new information arises from our team's investigation, the team requires additional information to complete their investigation. 

 

You can still access QuickBooks Online using other supported browsers, to continue doing your business as you wait for the updates of our product engineers.

Over time, the cache on your phone can accumulate unnecessary data, which may cause the app to behave unusually. To resolve this, follow the steps below to clear the app's cache.

 

  1. Go to the Help menu.
  2. Select Reset App Data.
  3. Click on OK.

 

After performing these steps, power cycle your device. If the problem persists, uninstall and reinstall the app.

 

As a workaround, you can use your mobile browser to access your QuickBooks company.

 

Additionally, you can also receive invoice payments using the QBO app.

iPhone app data not loading

This is still a huge problem! Why won’t any data for vendors or expenses actually ever stay on the phone. Ever time I open the app it appears all data is erased and it has to try to restart downloading that data. This makes QBO useless to me. I do all the bookkeeping for my business from an iPhone. I don’t have a desk as I’m mobile. This is completely unacceptable.

To begin with, let's perform a few troubleshooting steps to check if it is a mobile application issue. 

To get started, let's reset your app data:

 

  1. Go to Menu ☰ and click on Help & Feedback.
  2. Tap Refresh Data.
  3. A "Caution" message will appear if there is a problem getting your latest QBO data, you can refresh it now. It may take a few minutes.”
  4. Click on Refresh to confirm.


Once done, restart your phone and reopen the app. If you continue to get the same result, uninstall and reinstall the application to start fresh:

1. Tap and hold QBO app on your phone.
 

  1. Drag the app to the Uninstall section.
  2. Select Yes to confirm.

Alternatively, you can open a web browser through your phone and access QBO.

If the issue persists, I suggest contacting our live support team through the QBO web browser on your mobile device. The team has the resources to gather more information and offer immediate solutions.
