So it's been years since the purchase of TradeGecko, the re-introduction, and then the sunsetting. My company lost a ton of functionality when QBC sunset, and it's software we still miss to this day.
On top of all this, our main sales rep contact kept telling us for months that it was returning. Trying to get us into some secret QBC "beta" program. Telling us he had good news for us last spring...
Since then, silence.
Does anyone know what is going on? What happened to all that functionality and code? Is it permanently gone, or planned on being re-introduced one day?
Losing the functionality of TradeGecko and facing uncertainty about its future can be quite a challenge for your business, and having clarity during such transitions is essential. I’m here to help you find the information you need.
We previously discontinued TradeGecko and offered QuickBooks Commerce as a bundle with QuickBooks Online (QBO). However, we decided to focus on integrating e-commerce capabilities directly within QBO and have discontinued QuickBooks Commerce as a standalone product, effective August 31, 2023.
Now, QBO offers e-commerce accounting features, including automatic integration of payouts from your connected sales channels like Amazon, Shopify, and eBay Connectors, which will continue to be available.
You can find these apps by navigating to the Apps menu in your QBO account. This section will provide multiple integrations and tools to enhance your experience.
Additionally, check this link to learn how to add sales channels to QuickBooks for automatic order and payout imports.
You can tag my name if you have additional questions about the Commerce (TradeGrcko) discontinuation. I can help you further. Stay safe, and wishing you continued success.

Yes I know about the features currently integrated, and that old QBC was sunset.
I'm referring to the future, and bringing back inventory management, supplier and PO management, etc. The full QBC experience, not the current version.
Bringing back inventory management to QBO is a great help. I'm here to share some information about the QuickBooks Commerce discontinuation.
For now, reintroducing inventory, supplier and PO management is unavailable. I recommend exploring a third-party integration app you can integrate with features similar to QB Commerce.
For additional tips, while working with QuickBooks in the future, you can also review the topics from our help articles: QBO help articles, video tutorials, and more.
In case you require more information regarding the discontinuation of our service, do not hesitate to get in touch with us. We're always here to back you and your business. Take care always!
