Log in error

Whenever I try to log into Quickbooks, I get “Something went wrong. Try again. If the issue persists, contact us”. I’ve tried on my computer, ipad and the app on the phone. If I try to contact. Whenever I try to contact Quickbooks, it asks me to sign in, upon which I get the error message again.

Same thing happened to me.  Sunday and support is closed!!!!

I'd also feel the same when my QuickBooks Online doesn't work. I've got some troubleshooting steps for you to perform so you'll be able to get back to business in no time.

 

The first thing you can do is check your browser's settings. Here's how to set them up:

 

  1. Check if your browser works with QuickBooks Online.
  2. Ensure to turn on JavaScript, and pop-ups are some of the browser settings in QBO to load the pages.
  3. Then, sign in to your account.

 

Alternatively, I suggest logging in to your QBO using a private window. It doesn't use the existing cache files to help us determine if this is a browser-related issue. Feel free to use either of these keyboard shortcuts depending on your browser:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Safari 11 or newer: ⌘ Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl Shift P

 

If it works, you can go back to your original browser and clear its cache to start fresh. You can also use another supported and up-to-date browser to narrow down the results.
