Major issues with “request deposit” and “accept and pay” features being discontinued on emailed estimates. Adds many steps! please advise if have info or workaround.

Ive used quickbooks for 20 yrs.  These 2 features have streamlined my business and have recently been removed with a recent update according to 4 hrs. of tech support today.  If anyone has any info contradicting this or workaround ideas please advise. These features saved hours of time every week and so many steps.  If high tier staff reads this please put in a disclaimers and allow these features to be used they are so important.  Taking them away is like going backwards in technology.

This is not the impression we want you to experience when using the program. @Jeffy123.

It's true that the action to request a deposit and the accept and pay option has been discontinued already. I can see that this is crucial feature for any business. That being said, I suggest submitting a product suggestion directly to our software engineers.

As an alternative, you may create an e-invoice in QuickBooks. To learn about the process, please check out this article: Take and process payments in QuickBooks Online with QuickBooks Payments. This allows you to add links to invoices so customers can pay online. Customers can pay with PayPal, Venmo, credit card, or ACH bank transfer.

I'm also adding this resource to learn how new estimates and invoices can help you land jobs, keep work moving, and get paid faster: See what’s new with estimates and invoices in QuickBooks Online.

Thank you for your patience while we work on this. Feel at ease to get back to this thread if you have other concerns with QuickBooks. I'll be more than happy to help. Please take care.

How do I submit this directly to the engineering team?  Can you please forward this to them?  The tech I spoke with and I both agreed this is a really big downgrade to your software.
