Memo field does not sync with corresponding accounts with a transaction

Does anyone know if Intuit is going to fix the memo field issues with QuickBooks Desktop?

 

When you enter a transaction that debits/credits another account, the memo field is not updated the memo field correctly in the corresponding destination account.

There is no tie-in that I know of between the memo field and any other field, except when using items on sales transactions.

Every transaction debits/credits another account.

 

What type of transaction are you entering? What isn't working / why is it an issue?

Memo field does not sync with corresponding accounts with a transaction

It happens with any type pf transaction. For example:

You are paying a credit card from a checking account.

 

In the checking account you enter the information for paying the credit card
You select the account for the credit card
You enter a memo description

When you go to the credit card account, you will see the payment transaction but the memo will not correspond to what was entered during the checking account initial entry.

 

This happens no matter what type of transaction is performed.

It is weird that this is not in the business line of software (QuickBooks) when in Intuit’s personal software (Quicken) makes the correct memo representation is both accounts for the transaction
