It happens with any type pf transaction. For example:
You are paying a credit card from a checking account.
In the checking account you enter the information for paying the credit card
You select the account for the credit card
You enter a memo description
When you go to the credit card account, you will see the payment transaction but the memo will not correspond to what was entered during the checking account initial entry.
This happens no matter what type of transaction is performed.
It is weird that this is not in the business line of software (QuickBooks) when in Intuit’s personal software (Quicken) makes the correct memo representation is both accounts for the transaction
