You may have signed in to an old QuickBooks Point of Sale (POS) account, @rwcjr. That's why your old gopayment items and departments. With this, I'm here to guide you on the actions you need to take care of the issue.

When you have an old and active Merchant Services account, it may have recognized by the POS system after you've installed Ingenico Lane 5000. With this, I'd recommend contacting our POS Customer Care team. They can  review your setup, provide a new account number (if necessary), and guide you with a fix.

In the meantime, I'm adding this list of articles that answer the most frequently asked questions about POS: QuickBooks Point of Sale (POS) FAQ. It includes topics about software/hardware installation, data management, and multi-user mode, to name a few.

Let me know how it goes in the comments below. If you have other concerns about managing your POS account and data, I'm just around to help. Take care always.

Yes I did get in contact with merchant rep.  I actually had two accounts.  He made sure the new account was accessible without any syncing.  So things are up and running at the present.

thank you for your reply.
