Buy nowI have QuickBooks Enterprise and manage several companies. Right now I am only able to have one company accept credit cards. I have set up two merchant accounts using our general email, but am not able to set up the second account to receive credit cards. When I go to Customers > Link payment service to company file, it only allows me to transfer the current merchant account. When I click on any of the links to add credit card processing, nothing happens. I need to be able to accept credit cards through multiple companies using one email address and multiple merchant services accounts. Can I do this?
It's nice to have you in the Community today, @ KathyS2022. Let me share some insights with you about how the merchant services work with QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).
Ideally, a Merchant Services account can link to a single QuickBooks account. The option to accept credit cards through multiple companies using one email address and multiple Merchant Services accounts isn't possible.
If you still want to set up multiple accounts, I suggest reaching out to our Merchant Support Team for other possible alternatives. Refer to this article for the steps: Contact Payments or Point of Sale Support. Their hours of operation are also in this article, so you'll know there's always an available support representative when you contact them.
Also, if you need help managing your deposit account information in the future, you can check out this helpful article: Manage your account information using the Merchant Service Center.

I have 4 companies, and it has gotten too hard with the money apps separately. Each business has it own company EIN and bank account number. I want a separate app deposit for each business. How do I set that up so its free and clear for each account.
Good to see you here in the Community forum, m7138595801. I'll share insights on how to handle multiple companies in QuickBooks.
You can manage one QuickBooks company on the QuickBooks Money app. Since you have four companies, you can either use multiple devices for each account or sign in and out on the QuickBooks Money app as needed.
