Migrating from AccountEdge Pro to QuickBooks Desktop MAC

Hello QuickBooks Community,

I'm currently using AccountEdge Pro and am considering migrating to QuickBooks Desktop MAC. Has anyone here undergone a similar migration? I'd appreciate any insights, potential challenges, or tips you might have.

Thank you in advance for your assistance!

Warm regards

Migrating from AccountEdge Pro to QuickBooks Desktop MAC

Hi EasyLeadz,

Thank you for considering QuickBooks Desktop Mac in your business. Let me share information about importing data.

We have no direct way to import data from AccountEdge Pro to QuickBooks Desktop Mac. Therefore, I suggest finding a third-party app that can do the job.

On the other hand, you can also import data from Spreadsheets. Here's an article for your reference: Import data into QuickBooks for Mac.

Let me know if you have other questions in mind. Take care and have a good one!

Migrating from AccountEdge Pro to QuickBooks Desktop MAC

@EasyLeadz

You can buy a 3rd party conversion service. The following is a list of what is converted:

Chart of Accounts with current balances
Customers List with current balances
Vendors List with current balances
Jobs
Other Names
Items List
Assembly Builds
Inventory Quantities and Values
Employees List
Summary Trial Balance (no detail)
Open Invoices
Unapplied Credit Memos
Unpaid Bills
Unapplied Bill Credits
Estimates
Sales Orders
Purchase Orders
Multi-Currency data is converted

After the conversion is complete, your QuickBooks file will open directly in your program without the need to do anything else. Also, the Balance Sheet, P&L and Trial Balance will match your old data file to the penny. Contact me in private for details.
