Get 50% OFF QuickBooks for 3 months*
Buy nowI am starting Quickbooks fresh, however I need to enter transactions starting on 1/1/2022 to current date. I have linked my bank to Quickbooks, but just do not know how to get those transactions from 2 years ago (tomorrow) into the system. I don't want to mess anything up. Anyone know how?
Do you only need to import historical bank transactions, correct? You can use MT Online or one of the converter tools (e.g csv2qbo @ $60 one time license) as a workaround.

Welcome to the Community. I'd be glad to provide assistance with bringing your bank transactions in QuickBooks Online, @thewigginsclan.
The first time you connect your bank to QuickBooks Online (QBO) it automatically downloads the maximum number of entries. Depending on the Financial Institution (FI) they can give you up to a year of historical data. Some banks let you download the last 90 days of transactions.
Meantime, you can manually add your transactions into QuickBooks. Just visit your bank's website and then download it in a file format that we support such as .QBO, .CSV, or .QFX. Then, you can follow these steps on how to import it in QuickBooks:
For more details on how to do the manual upload, you can use this link: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.
Let me add this article as your guide in case you need categorizing transactions manually: Categorize online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.
Since your transactions will be ready after categorization, check out this article about reconciling your transactions to ensure your books are accurate: Reconcile transactions that are older than your opening balance in QuickBooks Online.
