Join nowWe are looking at moving from QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop to Online Advanced. They say that we can add the online app Inventory SOS to continue using sales orders, but I am concerned about losing the existing sales orders that we have in Enterprise. Everything I see in the literature tells me that existing sales orders will not move to Online Advanced. Can anyone shed some light on this?
Existing sales orders can be moved. I will share the procedure for the same
Good afternoon, @dadams1.
I appreciate you coming here with your question about sales orders when converting your file from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online.
Yes, you're on the right track. We don't have a sales order feature so that's why the existing ones in QBDT wouldn't come over into QBO.
With that being said, you always have the option to send our Product Developers feedback so they consider adding this as a feature in the near future. You can also check out our Blog site to keep up with what's new in the system.
I'm only a post away if you have any other questions or concerns. Have a wonderful day!
Which QBD year version do you run? 2021 or 2022?
I am using 2022
