I am running QuickBooks Premier Contractor 2013. When filling out Purchase Orders, my main warehouse address is automatically populated in to the 'Ship To' field. This works for me most of the time since most of my vendor shipments are received at this warehouse. However, I occasionally have a need to have my vendors ship to an alternate warehouse. On those occasions I have to physically type in the alternate address into the 'Ship To' field. There is a "drop down menu" arrow next to the Ship To field on every purchase order. Currently that drop down menu arrow is grayed out (presumably because Quickbooks only has one addressed saved - the main warehouse address). However, the fact that the menu arrow is there suggests that there must be a way to add additional addresses to the list. How do I add/save another shipping address so that it appears in the 'Ship To' drop down menu on Purchase Orders?
Hello and welcome to the Community, WIE.
I'm here with some insight to provide regarding the Ship To address feature on the Purchase Order (PO).
QuickBooks currently doesn't have the option to enter additional Ship To addresses. If you have to change it, you'll need to do what you're doing right now, which is to manually edit it when creating the PO.
I can see how having this option would make it easier for you, and others, to change the address when necessary. Rest assured, I'm going to submit a feature request from my side, which is sent to the Product Development Team. They're constantly looking for great ideas from users, like yourself, when deciding how to enhance QuickBooks Online.
Please let me know what else I can do to help you today. Thanks for coming to the Community, wishing you continued success in all that you do.
Any update on this feature? It would definitely be a helpful feature and it appears that many people online are looking for this functionality.
Thanks for dropping by in the Community, @Sandpiper Lane,
Right now, there isn't an option to enter multiple ship to addresses on purchase orders. However, you can edit it manually by creating the P.O.
I can see how this beneficial to your business. Rest assured, I'll pass your suggestion to our product engineers so they can look into it.

Hi, is there any update on this feature as of today? This would be extremely helpful for our company since we order materials from our supplier and have it shipped directly to the job site. Currently I have to manually type the project address for every purchase order.
Hello, cepps11.
At the moment, we don't have updates about adding the multiple ship to addresses in a purchase order. Manually editing the Ship To address when creating the purchase order is the available workaround.
You can also search for a third-party application that has a similar function by going to this link: Apps for QuickBooks Desktop.
