Multiplying Sales by "any number" for each customer

How would I multiply a customer's sales by a set percentage in QBO? For example: I want to multiply a customer's sale by 14.20%. I went to the sales by customer report but don't know what to do from there.

I can share some tips on how you can generate that report

The Sales by Customer Summary report will show all your total sales for each customer. If you need to manipulate its data, you may need to export it to an Excel file. Then, multiply the total amount by 14.20% from there. Here's how to download the report:

Select Reports from the sidebar menu.
Under Sales and customers, choose Sales by Customer Summary.
Set the appropriate reporting date and accounting method.
Click Run report.
Select the Export icon (between the Print and Cog icon).
Choose Export to Excel.

Hi there, Zbates.

I'm here to help you get the sales percentage of your customer.

You can use the Sales by Customer Summary report to have the total sales for each customer in QuickBooks Online. Then, if you wanted to convert a percentage into a decimal, do this by moving the decimal point two spaces to the left. Base on your example, 14.20% would be 0.1420. You can multiply this by any number you see on the report to get the sales percentage by customers.

So what I need to do is multiply all the sales by 14.20% in the Sales by Customer Summary report. I want to multiply the sales and have it show up and be put into the report. That process is what I have no knowledge of how to do.
