We can check the file format of your .CSV file to ensure that you can import your transactions into QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE), redxisnub. Let me go over the details with you.

To help resolve the problem, let’s double-check the format of your file to ensure it meets the accepted criteria for importing transactions and that it adheres to the following formatting restrictions:

  • The file must be in CSV (comma-separated values) format.
  • If the file contains blank lines, please delete them.
  • Ensure that the column header labels (from the dropdowns) match the column header labels in your CSV file.
  • Your CSV file should include the following information: Date, Description, and Amount.

For more detailed information, here’s an article you can refer to: Manually import transactions into QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Once the format is verified, please try importing using the steps below:

  1. Go to the Gear icon at the top.
  2. Choose Imports.
  3. Select Import Transactions.
  4. Follow the on-screen steps to upload the CSV file.
  5. Click Import.

After your transactions appear on the Transactions page, you can categorize them correctly on your Schedule C.

If you would like to create and manage category rules to quickly categorize common expenses and income, please let us know. We're here to guide you.

@redxisnub

Try csv2qbo converter tool as a workaround.
