My Printer is printing on the wrong line?

I just printed my weekly checks and they are printing way below the normal set up.  I've tried adjusting and the stub that we keep - the information is above the perforation - I will need to manually write in the information on my stub.  Evidently, something has changed!!

My Printer is printing on the wrong line?

I would like to provide more details about fixing the printing and alignment issues, then have this resolved as quickly as possible, primmaelectric, bhake.

When configuring your printer to align with your checks/paychecks in QuickBooks, you can use coarse and fine adjustments. However,  this feature is available if you purchase the checks from Intuit.

If the sample print doesn’t line up with the blank check, we recommend using Adobe Acrobat for printing checks. Adobe Reader is required for printing both Standard and Voucher checks. Here’s how to download it and set it as your default PDF viewer:

  1. Click the + New button. Then, choose Print Checks.
  2. Select Print Setup.
  3. Select No, and continue setup.
  4. Select the latest version of the Reader link. This takes you to Adobe’s page where you can download the latest version of Acrobat Reader.
  5. After installing Acrobat, go back to QuickBooks. Then select the How? link to set Adobe Reader as your browser’s default PDF viewer.
  6. Go back to QuickBooks and select View Preview and print sample. Then select Print.
  7. Follow the on-screen steps to finish printing your sample check.
  8. Check the alignment of your sample against a blank check.

You can print on your regular checks if the alignment looks good. This article will help configure your print settings and how to set up the printer dialog box: Configure your print settings for printing checks in QuickBooks Online.
