I am not seeing how I enter information on a new budget at all. I created 2022 from 2021 but have deleted because I could not find how to delete and add new accounts but now I can't even see how to enter information into a new blank budget, help please!
Thanks for becoming part of the Community, irlc.
Budgets can be set up for an account, or a Customer: Job or class within an account. You'll have to enter your amounts for either income, expense, or balance sheet accounts.
Here's how:
Once you've created a budget, you can always access it and make changes if necessary.
If there's any additional questions, I'm just a post away. Have a lovely day!
Thank you Zac, I'm still struggling, I'm not seeing how to delete a line I no longer need this year and how to add a line for a new account. I tried to start a budget from scratch as well and I don't see how you add anything, it is all blank, where do I type to start to enter information, it is all just blank with no option to type in. Thank you! I know I must be just missing something simple.
You're unable to delete a line when creating a budget, irlc.
Just leave the line blank since you won't use it this year. Also, you can manually the amount by typing directly into a cell if you need to add the amount.
You can also right-click to see additional menus that allow you to copy data across the row. Or adjust values by specific percentages and amounts. I'm adding the screenshots below for your visual guide.
