New "Modern Theme" is broken

I was excited when the new default "Modern theme" was released for invoices - it was clean and had a nice layout. I updated the colors and started using it for all my invoices. It looked like this, with the invoice and billing info all in the colored bar:

Suddenly months later, for no reason, the colored bar is now stacked, making the invoice unnecessarily tall and just looks broken. The same invoice shown above now prints like this (as do all my new invoices):

Because it is the default theme, it can not be edited. And none of the editable themes look like this so I can't reproduce it. Is anyone else seeing this? Can Quickbooks please address this issue?

I can certainly see that you're already used to using the new modern theme in QuickBooks Online (QBO) as it has a cleaner and well-organized layout.

We recognize the importance of this feature to our users. You can send feedback requests to our Product Development Team so they can check and consider this in future updates. I'll show you how to do it.

Go to the Gear icon.
Under Profile, select Feedback.
Enter your suggestion.
Hit Next.

Hello @LeizylM - I appreciate your response. I have submitted feedback through the link you sent in the past and did not see any confirmation of whether it was received or not. I will try to submit feedback again.

My only response to your note is that I am not looking for a way to edit the default theme. I am just hoping that the Quickbook developers can fix what was once working fine. As mentioned, when first introduced, the height of the colored bar in the middle of the invoice was 1X, but then many several months later it changed to 2X. So something changed on the back end and I am hoping the developers can just fix it to what it was before.

I'll submit another feedback note and see if that prompts a fix. Thanks again for your response.

Unfortunately, no. I sent multiple "feedback" messages through the site, but haven't received a response. I did talk to a customer support person about it one time, but they just kept referring me to instructions on how to update templates. (Which in this case is not relevant.)

The modern theme default invoice is HOT GARBAGE and not even a 1st grader would lay it out as terribly as you've offered us a the 'default'. FIX THIS SHART. Is ther a single Dev at Intuit with an OUNCE of aesthetic talent? Alignments? Frack... you guys
