Office 2024 and QBD

Outlook for Office 2024 does not show up under "SEND FORMS" for QBD Enterprise 24. My users that are still on Office 2019 do show Outlook and utilize it every day.

System requirements do not show Office 2024. Is this a glitch or is Quickbooks truly not supporting the latest Office versions? I need to upgrade them as Office 2019 is no longer support by Microsoft.

Office 2024 and QBD

Hello there, sentry. We appreciate you taking the time to share detailed information and supporting resources regarding your concern.

Running QuickBooks Desktop 2024 requires a 64-bit Windows operating system. Since this version utilizes a 64-bit structure, you generally need the 64-bit version of Outlook 2024 and your QuickBooks updated to the latest release for full compatibility.

If you're already on the 64-bit version but still having trouble, reinstall QuickBooks to clear up any lingering issues. Beyond that, you can use Webmail or QuickBooks email services to send your forms directly. Another option is to save the form as a PDF and manually attach it to an email within the Rightworks Outlook app.

The Community forum is always here if you have more questions about sending forms or other QuickBooks tasks.
