My back up stopped working, tried to log in, goes to the page but has script error page that I can't get rid. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Currently, we have an ongoing investigation about the script error upon logging in to Intuit Data Protect (IDP) to backup data online. Our engineering team already working on fixing the issue. I suggest reaching out to our Support Team so you'll be added to the list of affected users.
Script errors are most commonly associated with Internet Explorer. QuickBooks connects to the internet using the browser's settings by default. Let's try clearing out the Internet Explorer (IE) browsing history since we had some success fixing the issue doing this.

Open your sample file and run the backup process. If the same error persists, you have to reinstall your QuickBooks. Otherwise, your primary file is damaged. Run the QB ToolHub to fix it, chat Support and ask Data Service to fix it, or purchase a 3rd party file repair service.
This has been an ongoing issue since at least 2019. IE is essentially dead. We need a fix ASAP.

The issue about getting unusual error while setting up or activating Online Backup is still tagged as an ongoing issue. We're unable to provide an exact time frame on when this will be fixed. However, I suggest contacting QuickBooks our QuickBooks Desktop Support Team to add you to our notification list. This will help our engineers determine the number of affected users. Then, rest assured you'll also receive an update through email once this has been resolved.
